THE CATHEDRAL OF CUSCO  

It is located in the Main Square. Considered as one of the monuments but beautiful and significant of South America, The Cathedral of Cusco constitutes the main church of this city, built in the place where the Inca palace of the Kiswarkancha and the Sunturwasi were located (he/she marries of weapons) of the old empire. According to the chronicles in their construction extracted stones of the Inca temple of Sacsayhuaman. They conform this monumental group The Church of the Sacred Family (XVIII S.); The Church of the Victory (XVI S.) and The Basilica Cathedral (XVI S. - XVII).
